Czech Republic - Orlicke Hory

Just 60km behind the Krkonose, stretches Orlicke Hory, boasting the highest mountain Destna (115m), and situated just 40km from the northern border to Poland. Ski regions here are favoured for the cross-country slopes, as well as top downhill slopes. Czech Republic is perfect for all winter sports. Another place well worth a visit in this region is the small village of Pekov, which is situated at the foot of the Brown Forest close to the rocky labyrinth around Adersbach, which is also well known.

SIZE: approx. 20 rooms.

SITUATION/DESCRIPTION: This hotel is situated in the centre of Destne and is amoungst the top addresses in this ski region. Within the hotel you find a restaurant, a newly built swimming pool (1 hour each day is free of charge), and also a sauna (for a small charge). The skilift is just 500m away.

ROOMS: The top floor offers double and multi-bed rooms with shower/WC, and the lower floors offer showers in the rooms, and WC's in the corridors.

MEALS: Half-board.

ORLICEK GUESTHOUSE

SITUATED: In Pastviny. There is a ski lift just 3km away. 6km is Petrovicky, and within 22 km you find Ricky Dolni Morava and Cenkovice. It takes just 30 minutes to reach these ski centers.

DESCRIPTION: There is a restaurant within the main building in which a New Years Eve Party may be held in. (please state with booking).
Altogether there are 6 chalets, 2 of which are available. In each chalet are 8 beds, 3 x double rooms, and a double sofa-bed in the lounge area. There is also a small kitchenette in the lounge.

MEALS: There is a choice of self-catering, half-board, or full-board.
