DESCRIPTION: The Saas-Grunder cable car station is just 50m away from the guesthouse. Your return ski-journey brings you almost to the house door! The rooms have between 1 and 4 beds in. The showers and wc's are in the hallway. There is a large lounge to relax in evenings... if you choose not to join the party scene! The kitchen and house management is closely watched by our service-team. After each breakfast, you are invited to make up your own lunch packet for you mid-day break. Evenings, you receive a 3 course menu, and cheap drinks are available from the bar.

FACTS

S A A S - F E E - SAAS-GRUND 1562m - 3600m
Everywhere mountains! 18 x 4000-er make the breathtaking scene for your arrival. The lifts go up to 3600m.
The Saastal in the Valais Alps is our first choice for a super winter holiday. Saas-Grund is an old mountain village, which has kept a hold on traddition. Everywhere, blackish-brown wooden houses are standing, as well as chalets. Saas-Fee is only a few minutes away by ski-bus. The panaramic view is breathtaking, as you are surrounded by a chain of beautiful, enormous, snowy mountains. A place to fall in love with!
All the downhill slopes in this ski region, end somewhere at the edge of the village (which is a traffic-free village). There are also countless opportunities for the Apres-Ski.

SPORTS

This region of Saastal fulfills each and every wish, and here are a couple of reasons why:-
Firstly, both the towns Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell have together 18 lifts, and 45km slopes to offer. In Saas-Grund, is the highest cable-car in Switzerland, reaching 3100m high! At 2400m, the Kreuzboden is awaiting the snowboarders with its Freestyle-Park which has a 90m long Halfpipe. More? ...
Secondly, approximately 3km from Saas-Grund (reachable by the FREE ski bus), is the vehicle-free town of Saas-Fee. Right at the beginning of the town, is the "Alpin Express", which takes you up into the ski region. 100km slopes, and 49 lifts await you. The snow is laying perfectly in place.... The longest downhill slope from Mittelallalin (over 1778m) has 14km pure ski enjoyment until reaching the valley below.
Start point, above the clouds at a height of 3600m, to end in Saas-Fee. And afterwards? A feeling of tired yet happy! And then? One thing you are sure to want to do.... to go all the way back up again!!!!
ATTENTION SNOWBOARDERS:
Saas-Fee offers it's Funpark, with newly shaped Halfpipe, Boardercross with tunnel, and real High-jumps!

LEISURE ACTIVITIES

There is not only skiing and snowboarding here in Saastal! When the evening draws in, it is a long time before the lights go out! This is the ideal place to be! Mornings you are quickly in the ski region, and evenings you are in the center of the night-life! Our team know of the insider spots to go (e.g. the Muehle, Black Bull Bar, or the Schneeiglu!). Cool days, hot nights!!! In Saas-Fee, in the large sport and leisure center, you can play tennis, go swimming, or relax in the sauna or steam-bath. There is a weekly ice-hockey match organised, usually against guests from other guesthouses. This offers fun for players and fans alike! Other activities in the programme are a disco-night in Saas-Fee, a night-hike to a ski hut, and a scating party. Live music is also to be found, and this season "Elvis" is around!
