QUATRE VALLEES
The most difficult slopes are to be found here, deep, powdery snow, as found on Mont Gele, or the 3km long buckel slope Tortin. These are directly reachable from Verbier. The climax, when conditions allow, is the 15km long variable downhill slope from Mont Fort to Le Chable. A super ski region tour to Haute-Nendax, Veysonnaz, or the World Cup Slalom route "Mayens de Lours" is also there to tempt you.
Instead of buying the whole-ski-pass Quatre Vallees with Mt. Fort, you may be satisfied with a cheaper alternative, being a part-ski-pass Verbier General, which allows usage of all slopes from Verbier to Tortin, La Tzoumaz, and Le Chable (without Mt. Font). This way, you also have the opportunity of purchasing a one-day-complete-pass (which then includes Mt. Fort), for an additional SFR 10,-.
The small region Verbier/Savoleyers, offers sunny, and simple slopes, and is suitable for beginners.
VERBIER:
Verbier offers a sports center with squash courts and swimming baths, as well as shops, boutiques, and coutless cafes, restaurants, bars, and pubs. And international ski town at its best. Once a week, we organise a bus to take you to the nightlife of Verbier, where you may enjoy Happy-Hour, bingo, or a welcome party.
